Sol was adopted into the royal family that ruled over the Kingdom of Fire. Most of the citizens didn't like Sol because he didn't share the same blood as his family but more importantly than that they were scared of his mysterious red eyes and only the queen and king knew where he came from. To the rest of the kingdom, Sol just suddenly appeared one day and that was that.  With the strict rules of what it means to be a prince along with the disapproval of most of the kingdom, Sol usually ends up trying to break those same rules that try to chain him down with the kingdom's expectations. Things will soon take a turn for the worst as Sol finds himself being framed for murder all while a greater evil peaks its head around the corner. A few tidbits of knowledge that would make this story make a lil more since are: -This one-shot is only based off the movie, not the comics nor the upcoming (as of 2019) show. -All of the species named here (Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics, Podlings) are all more humanoid than what is canon in the Dark Crystal movie but you can still image them as you wish. -The Skeksis are the Galra. (The Mystics AREN'T the Alteans though.) Image the Skeksis as more Galra-like or more Skeksis-like, do what fits your imagination.
