"Roxanne!" I turn and see a face, one I almost forgot. "Don't you wanna be with me again, your best friend" it said again holding a small teddy bear and a book. It placed the teddy and book at my feet and I saw the title. "The Book of Lies" I murmur running my finger along the spine. "Yes, it is" the voice said and smiled slowly.

I twitched as Error smiled at him. Why him? What was so great about him? Error and the other boy laughed about something, it must've been a joke, considering the person Error was hanging out with. 1 month ago i found a dog in the middle of the street. 1 month ago, he became my best friend. 1 month ago, he became my closest companion. My amigo, my partner in crime, the furry animal that slept in my bed every. single. night. "Are you okay darling?" Reas soft voice echoed through my phone. "I'm okay, I just-" I stop suddenly. I don't want to ruin this, I might just feel like this because she's my best friend. Or it might be my drunk and empty brain tricking me. "You what?" She sounds worried, I don't want to worry her. "I just don't want to live without you, you make me feel safe. I was the first. I arrived in the Glade, and there was nothing and... no one. I remembered nothing about who I was, who my parents were, what happened. A few days I remembered my name, and that's it. That's all that ever came back. There were four walls surrounding me with only one exit. I wanted to go through, so I did, in hopes of finding my way out. What I found lurking on the other side was not an exit but something much worse. I found my way back, and I spent the next month fending for myself. Food, water, a temporary shelter. After a month, someone else arrived, and this person arrived with supplies. Every month a new person was sent up. Every arrival was the same as mine. They couldn't remember anything. I was the first one here, and that means that I call the shots, I make the rules, and I run the place.Complete
