Long, long ago, the world was balanced. There was life, and there was death. The two gods had complete control over the earth. However, many of man kind sought their power. Life harnessed the power of the six core elements and created a new species called Spirits. In the process of the war, the balance had been broken. After a long, death filled war, an agreement was finally made between the three races and balance was one again restored.
Now, thousands of years in the future, a new enemy threatens the balance of this world, army has to work twice as hard to maintain the peace. With this new enemy possibly being on an equal level to the Gods themselves. This generation has little to no experience working as a team, and one of them has a broken soul and a personal connection with the enemy that may serve as a problem in the future.

The dragonslayers of the realm had slain the legendary Ender Dragon, heightening the power of a powerful, corrupting demon named Xornoth into full, unfathomable might. The eternal winter would slowly poke its tendrils inside of the world, extinguishing its warmth, and serve as the realm's veins, repudiating out the old, summer roots. Xornoth came to Joey Graceffa under the Enchanting Temple of the Jungle and offered him the Crown. This Crown was a reward for Emperor Joey's undying loyalty and for defeating the Ender Dragon and letting Xornoth be free to the world once more. Ever since Joey slid that Crown atop his head, he saw the world in a different perspective. A perspective even more corrupt than ever. His eyes became red. Violent red. Two citizens of the Lost Empire had sensed a shift in Joey's enamour for the devil. It was up to them to save their Ruler, and hope that in the end... Their Emperor would not be lost. Like the Empire he rules. This EMPIRES SMP work is a fanfiction story. I do not own these characters, these settings, and some of the plotlines established by the dear Minecrafts that play the SMP. I am just writing this for fun and to improve my storytelling as an aspiring fiction/fantasy writer. I am a huge fan of the Empires SMP, and I wanted to write my own fanfiction story that takes place in that world. This story takes place after the End Dragon War, and after Joey Graceffa, the Lost Empire ruler who is in love with the server's demon, Xornoth, had worn the given Crown that made his eyes red and made him more bloodthirsty than ever (Episode 17 - Xornoth Gave Me A Gift!) Some of these won't make sense if you are not following the series' entire encompassing storyline, and are not interested in the lore. And I guess I may have tweaked some stuff here for the plot's sake. And pardon if there are some painful grammatical errors and spelling mistakes in this story (English isn't my first language, and I'm still learning!)Complete

The world is dying. Heaven and Hell have broken and collapsed, creating a post-apocalyptic landscape that is part purgatory, part platonic world of ideas, blighted by the horrors of the human mind. The sun lies dormant in the east, atop God's tower, while the west is plunged into darkness and haunted by all that lives there. There is no day and night cycle, nothing grows, nothing dies, nothing changes, unless magic is involved. Angels hunt creatures for their blood, to feed it to God so he can finish gestating. Demons kill and destroy aimlessly, their origins inexplicable and unknown. Stranger beings wander the ruins of what's left of the world. Humans need not eat or sleep, caught in a state between life and death. They cannot die or be born naturally, but they can be killed and they can be made. The few that survived with their sanity somewhat intact have locked themselves into warded cities, but their protections are feeble and often ineffective. The Order that united them is long gone, broken into factions known only by the sins for which they have fallen. The Houses that protected them are crumbling, falling into ruin as their members were culled down by angels and demons, as well as their own mad quest to save the world; the Pilgrimage, a vain attempt to steal into Eden and murder God himself. Soon, only the Scions will remain. Those that were left not due to merit, but because they were the last choice for being heroes. Those whose memories and minds are as damaged and eaten through as their world. Those who agreed to take on the mysterious Archons within their bodies and, through that contract, had ancient relics and rituals passed down to them. They converge onto a long forgotten neutral ground, trying to save themselves. A heroic journey through a nightmarish wonderland. A pilgrimage to God's tower, to make the world whole again. Everyone believes in something, Gods, aliens, demons, ghosts... but there are some of us that believes in ANGELS. They think just that the angels just fly, protect you and that's the end of their power, or they are just white-winged, but actually there are three types of angels:white, dark and gray, and their power is beyond what we could have ever thought of. They can control their element, shadow or light, bend it and transform it into weapons, they live and fly in their own parallel dimension, where with their persuasive power they can control you, just if you are not strong enough. The fight between the light and the dark is now balanced just by one first challenge in the starting road of a just born angel, "The challenge of wings", that transforms an ordinary person with the sacred soul within into a gray angel, and from his 16th birthday until the first moon, every good or bad deed he does will change the color of his wings in darker or lighter shades of gray, and in the night with full moon the transformation will be completed. Kieron is an extraordinary boy, the best friend of everybody and Mr. Handsome, and now that he found out he is an angel, all he needs to do is pass the challenge and resist the fate in the tremendous war between light and shadow. The Glitch
Every 100 years there's supposed to be a new one of us. But the newest one vanished when the world needed him most. Now people, are either fearful of us or hate us it sounds like. He was really supposed to be the next one, there's only supposed to be one of us, but there's two. They call me a glitch, I'll be able to learn all different elements just like my brother, but also I'm the only one who has some form of touchable body even when I'm in the spirit world.
