Two rival nations agree to put their centuries-old feud to rest. The agreement stated that when the rulers of each nation have a child, they will be married when they come of age to unite the nations. The Raven Realm had a girl and then a boy a year later. The Phoenix Nation then had a baby girl 2 years after the boy was born. It was then agreed the boy and girl would be wed.
Harper Alden was well aware of the deal that the 2 nations made. She had been studying and practicing how to be a ruler since she was 7. With a week left until her 18th birthday and from there 3 weeks until the day the 2 children were to be wed, Her visit was crucial for this arrangement to work.
But while she's there preparing, something unexpectedly threw all her plans out the window.
