In a small town off the coast of maine lives a girl. Day by day she walks to school, the salty misty of the sea drifting though the town. Watching the shimmering black ocean, secretly wishing to sink below its depths. Day by day, morning by morning, she longs for the icy chill of the sea. Maybe if she did, she could finally breathe. Maybe if she sank her head would feel lighter. It wasn't until the evening of a heavy storm this changed. A girl with eyes as deep and blue as the sea, with inky black hair and pale polished skin. She stood on the empty dock, staring out at the sea, her breath coming out in puffs of vapor.
