Astrid Hallowswift is a 15 year old girl who lost her parents at the age of 7 and who's brother disappeared a few months after.born and raised in the Raveryn Kingdom. She's raised by her abusive aunt and horrible cousins. The girl has a gift to talk to animals and mystic creatures that "don't exist" the girl is called crazy by people she knows even her own farther thinks she's crazy. She reads a lot books are the only way she can escape from everyone and everything. Astrid has a few friend's well two friend's that actually understand her. She likes to run around in the forest in the middle of the night with the mystic creatures. One day something calls out to her what is it? Is it someone or something?

Will she finally meet someone like her? Or will it become more dangerous and challenging?
