On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.

They were ok at first, and helped with many things. More and more got manufactured, but soon, they became more and more sentient. They seemed to have another motive for being there, and that motive showed when they all acted up. At first people thought it was glitches, just harmless little ticks in the now-sentient beings. But then one day, they began destroying things. Killing people. They seemed indestructible, and they all formed together to create an army. A huge war began, and it ended badly not for the robots, but for everyone else. Now the world seems to be falling apart, and people are dying with the destruction and famine caused from the war; along with the new 'government' in the largest city, which is spreading. Surrounding the city was destroyed towns, rusted with parts flung around. People are trying to survive the best they. But what will happen to them? What will they do? This is a novel about a topic we technically made up randomly and if there are any mistakes, errors, or just places I could fix and add more details please tell me, I want to make this book enjoyable and exciting to read! Also please be aware that some of these will be notice's and this book does need and have a blood warning and a swear warning! Please do be aware if you can't deal with blood this book does get descriptive (Partly true) and I will be explaining what scars, burns and wounds look like and the pain felt for them. This book is more themed in the future than it is nowadays. You may also find some technology that is more futuristic, and there are things talking about the past. Most of the book is switching between views of the main characters. We want you to expect the unexpected in this book, for example: Most books don't kill off the main character, we want you to think we will kill off one of them. Most of the characters in this will have birthdays and age in the background and it may not be written. There will be more books coming out so we will end this one on a cliffhanger.

I feel like throwing up right here and now. "Mr. Holt, answer me!" "What..." I gasp and blink. "There he is, sir. He's answering," it crackles in my ear and I raise my hand to my temple with a groan. ------------------------------------------ America in the year 2095: A convicted murderer is offered freedom. In return, however, he must carry out a reconnaissance mission that turns out to be a true horror. He is catapulted through a portal into another world and discovers firstly that he has undergone a devastating change and secondly that America in this other world is more like a dictatorship. With a ruler who thinks rather inferiorly of his and other cases and abuses them as test objects. ------------------------------------------- Trigger warning: chapters may contain intense violence, blood and profanity (...) ------------------------------------------ The book contains two parts.
