After finding out the reason why Shadow likes being alone in that one particular cave, he decided to stick around and company him. It makes Sonic realize that Shadow isn't really that evil and it also makes him grow closer to the dark hedgehog. SFW book.

Sonic just can't help but stay away from Shadow and visits become more regular, their bond gets closer and feelings become more clear between the two... ⚠️ i wrote this story when i was a new fan of the Sonic franchise, story doesn't really make sense as Shadow should be able to heal but lets just ignore that🥰
