"Daedalus fashioned two pairs of wings out of wax and feathers for himself and his son. Unfortunately, Icarus soon forgot his father's warning and filled with the exhilaration of flying, he flew too high and too close to the sun. The intense heat melted the wax on the wings, the feathers came loose. Icarus kept flapping his wings but soon realized that he had no feathers left and that he was only flapping his featherless arms, and so Icarus fell into the sea and drowned."

[y/n] spoke with a stern expression upon her usually stoic face." If there's one thing I've learned from my Greek Mythology lessons... you don't want to go down the same path as an Icarus."

Chuckling breathily, Wilbur ran a hand through his messy hair with a tired smile on his lips," [y/n]... have you ever wanted something so bad that you'd do anything to get it?" He questioned, meeting eyes with her bright [e/c] ones.

Staring deeply into his stormy irises, [y/n] bit her lip before she nodded to him firmly," I know that feeling all too well, Will...." Then she uncrossed her arms and settled a hand upon his head, ruffling his hair affectionately," So that's why I'm staying by your side no matter what you decide to choose... until we both get what we want."
