Nandita Khanna is a young doctor who lives a simple life. She is a determined, strong and independent woman. The only thing she hates is her family. She doesn't like them controlling her life so she separated herself from them and is currently leaving alone in the US.

An incident that happened in one of her intern's life marked the entry of Leonardo Martinelli, a businessman and an Italian mafia don into her life. He is determined to make her his but decides to give her time to fall in love with him but he hides his true identity from her. Nandita accepts his proposal and decides to get married but soon she discovers his true self and escapes from there and comes back to India.
