Simple was one word to describe the relationship between Jonah and Parker. They aren't enemies but not exactly friends either. She's just Jonah Casey, the girl with an admiration for idioms. He's just Parker Halton, the guy who's anything but an open book. And together they're a hurricane. Unpredictable, dangerous and not afraid to wreck anything in their path.

But even hurricanes have to end at some point.

Jonah is running out of time, and Parker doesn't know what for. With a Polaroid camera that's seen better days and a bucket list that's shorter than Parker's temper, the two embark on an adventure that'll make more than enough damage. But the thing about being reckless is that someone's bound to get hurt.

I'm running, my dress bunched up in my fists. But I'm not running for my life I'm running for his, and when I see him I stop. There is one bulky man on either side of him, they have their arms linking his, he's kneeling in front of someone with raven black hair. As we get closer, I see his pain in the way he's holding himself, his brown hair is clouding his face. Something catches in my throat as I see him bent forward, almost looking limp. The panic is slowly eating me up on the inside. 'Please lift your head, let me see your eyes' I pray inside my head. He can't be gone. It's almost like he hears my prayers as he looks up, his blue eyes as deep as the ocean depths, knocks the breath out of me as per usual. I close my eyes and thank God for keeping him alive. The right side of his jaw is all purple and red. A cut on the other side of his face, which is oozing with the red liquid. He suddenly looks past the black haired male to look at us, reassurance washing over his features. It's when he sees me that his eyes widen, and the panic grows by the second. He goes from a slump to picking himself upright. He's hurt. Badly. The black haired man spins around as we walk closer in their direction. All 6 of us stop as I catch a glimpse of the face. A deadly grin appears on his wicked face. "Boys, I've been waiting for you" He shouts loud and clear. "And you brought the girl" * Crescent Bay Dawson was once popular but now she lives in the shadow of her twin brother. He lowered his head towards me, a cocky grin spreading across his lips as he raked his eyes across my body before landing them back on mine. I clicked my tongue in annoyance before averting my eyes, ignoring the blush that threatened to run across my cheeks. "You give me serious Heebie-Jeebies." "Love you too, McCoy." •---------• 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐀 𝐌𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐘―――is determined to start her last year of high school on a clean slate, all she wants to do is graduate and leave Manhattan, New York in the past. In order to do that, she needs to complete her twenty numbered list of things that she wants to accomplish before graduating. On number two of that list stands 'HAVE MY FIRST KISS!" in big bold letters, and that is exactly what she wants to do―no, accomplish. Mara has her senior year all planned out, from hopefully finishing all of her volunteer hours to becoming valedictorian, she knows exactly what she wants and what she has to do to get it―the only thing she doesn't have on her list is falling in love with the captain of the boys soccer team. 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐃𝐄𝐍―――just wants to finish his last year of high school by being scouted for a scholarship and maybe something more. His entire life revolves around a ball that he kicks with his feet, since the young age of four, the sport has held a tight grip around his throat. To have that taken away is equivalent to the end of the world―for him at least―which is why he takes his coaches advice and begins to look for after school tutoring. What he didn't expect, is for his tutor to be the cute girl he's had his eye on since freshman year. He knows that girls are a distraction, he's seen it happen to all of his teammates, but just how is he supposed to resist her cute freckled cheeks and pretty smile?
