Celestine is anything but normal.
Aside from the people that work with her at Benjamin’s Bar and Grill of an evening, everyone thinks of her as a freak, someone to avoid. Not that she minds. She prefers quiet to the ruckus that comes with knowing a large number of people.
Her life begins to change, however, when a certain golden eyed Fae Prince makes his presence known in her life. Corin Albrecht, crowned Prince of Alfheim, who little is known about in the human world, slowly finds himself getting rather attached to Celestine. So much so that he considers breaking the one rule he has for himself.
But Celestine is no fool. Learning who he is and what he is, Celestine remembers things that were told to her when she was but a young girl by her grandmother. One such thing is to never accept a gift from a Fae as they are tricky creatures and to accept three gifts means you are bound to that Fae until the day you die. As Corin attempts to shower Celestine in romance and tries to catch her off her guard with gifts, both find themselves in a rather dangerous predicament when they return to Corin’s home world. Though she accepted only two gifts from Corin, Celestine finds herself in a spot of trouble one night when she is cornered in a room with someone she was warned to stay well away from.
Will Corin get to her in time to rescue her, or will Celestine figure a way out of the rather large hole she digs for herself? Will Celestine accept a third and final gift from Corin and become his until her last day? Read Dark Amethyst to find out.
