"You disgust me!" Alex shouted at the top of his voice as his fierce eyes which were full of passion gazed at me. My heart trembled at his loud voice. However, I wasn't frightened. I knew I wasn't a woman like my mom, scared and timid. I was a strong girl, raised strong by my mom.

Ava Gildon, the daughter of a famous business tycoon ran from home due to the stern rules her father had set. Expecting a happy, middle-class lifestyle, she set out to another city looking for freedom and independence. Little did she know her life would completely change after realising she had to work for Alex, a billionaire.

Alex Caulton was a man of pride and ego. His whole life revolved around the money his dead father had left him with. Being responsible, he built an empire, which made him the richest bachelor in Newtown. His biggest flaw was the hate of the poor. He was disgusted by even the slightest voices of the poor. Even his workers were given the tags of being rich because of him.

His love-hate feelings for Ava begins as soon as they cross paths.
