When a 10 year old girl finds her life upside down what will she do when the only people that want to help her are the people she fears the most .

10 year old , Evelyn , is an orphan . She is adjusting to life in an ... unorthodox way .
Living with abusive foster parents broke her childhood and she resulted in moving back to her original home . Evelyn now lives alone in her old house , she wasn't legally supposed to live there but all of her belongings and her parents belongings were still there , the police weren't allowed to clear the house without Evelyn's consent and she would 𝗇𝖾𝗏𝖾𝗋 consent to that .

One day she arrives home to a fire . Usually being saved by firefighters would be a blessing but for Evelyn it was a nightmare .
