Alice Rose is a 18 year old goth girl who goes to Heart Lock High School, she is a senior and doesn't have friends, her mother,Sarah, is married to an abusive alcoholic husband named John. She and her mother get abused at home. She gets bullied everyday because of her lifestyle, but everything changes when the new kid, Skylar Night, is transferred to the school. He's mysterious, tall, handsome, and has a secret that no one can ever figure out. Skylar becomes intrigued by Alice and begins to crave for her.
