Updating the description on this as to not mislead readers. Bare with me, I have reworked this fic HARD for the emotional payoff to be worth it: A really slow burn- painfully slow. This story contains a romantic subplot (still applies to the character tags), but the main genre is a dark psychological epic AFTER the brutality of the Clone Wars. The relationship that develops is not casual, not soft, and not easy. It is built from trauma, violence, and emotional damage. This is NOT light romance.
