Emerson Asher's life falls apart the day she finds her mother murdered in her childhood home.
Tired of waiting for the police to catch her mother's killer and done with everyone's shit, she takes matters into her own hands.
Despite wanting to be on her own on this new adventure of sorts, she unintentionally recruits the help of one of her classmates that she just cant seem to shake off.
