Emerson Asher's life falls apart the day she finds her mother murdered in her childhood home.
Tired of waiting for the police to catch her mother's killer and done with everyone's shit, she takes matters into her own hands.
Despite wanting to be on her own on this new adventure of sorts, she unintentionally recruits the help of one of her classmates that she just cant seem to shake off.
Damien Felds isn't your typical high school student. He has had his own trials and tribulations to deal with in the past and can see the ghosts that haunt Emerson and the emotions she keeps locked away. His conscience refuses to let her go through this mission alone.
While the unlikely pair run around the city they grew up in, the murders escalate in violence and size and the killer is not impressed by Emerson's efforts, often retaliating.
