On one of the adventures they went on Emma met the daleks and they almost killed her. The doctor then realized that Emma was young and had so much more life to live, so he left her back at the orphanage and never came back. Here's what happens when she meets him (10 now) again.

Emma didn't even try to suck up to the mayor, she didn't care about Henry's stories of her evil-doing, though she did believe him. She wasn't scared of Regina, so she had no love to fight. It felt wrong, but for that very reason, Regina found herself with fondness for Emma. How odd, that the younger woman's lack of love caused the older woman to become fascinated. It felt wrong, and it felt scary, and Regina Mills didn't like feeling scared.

Basically instead of Jordi being sick, it's Henry. - Henry runs away from home and ends up in Mexico, when he finds out he has cancer he crosses the boarder back to the states and soon after Regina is contacted. She rushes to California to see her son for the first time in five years. The only problem is Emma is there, oh and the man she hocked up with at the bar, the one with the lion tattoo? Yeah, he's there too, and so is his ex. It does contain direct quotes as well as scenarios that happened in the Red Band Society. Some names have been changed for example Emma is now Addie and Kara is Grace Hatter and Dr. McAndrew is Robin Locksley. This is an OQ pairing story.
