Hiraeth is what Marinette felt when she was forced to leave because of Lila's lies, everyone turning against her, and Hawkmoth finding out her and Chats identify.

Marinette thought this journey would only be a couple of months and she will go back and fix everything. But what she doesn't know is that her journey will be much longer with finding a family that will always be there for her, secret siblings, stories, reaching her goals she was afraid to start, flashback, longing for someone, more secrets and so much more.

He yelled her name but couldn't reach her anymore. She was leaving him! Someone was shaking him as he was being woken up. He had to get her back! He woke up to Felix and Plagg looking at him in sorrow. He couldn't speak as he just grabbed his hair. He was nothing without his safe place but that place was locked away in her forgotten memories. ------------------------ Adrien Agreste only had a month left to graduation but he had lost one of the best things school gave him. A Little Bit of Bad Luck
In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action.
