this is a selection series fanfiction, written from the pov of a teen who rereads the books many times and wishes she could be part of the world they live in then one night as she reads the first book again she finds herself in the palace. Even though she is competing for Maxon's heart, the first night she is at the palace she meets a guard.

Previously known as 'my selection' in the books it's maxons selection but what if it was the other way around? in this story, it's America's selection. (ik in the heir it's said eadlyn had the first girl selection but I'mma change that and alot of things so just know I'll break some rules from the books) America's parents didn't want to marry off her to get allegiance but they think she should be a queen. so when she turns 17 they suggest the idea of a selection for her. maxon is a five and a photographer. he's has always thought that the princess was really beautiful with her icy blue eyes and red hair like roses and honey and the sun.
