The classic childhood friends to lovers story is as old as time. The pure and sweet love just seem so bittersweet when it's the wrong two childhood friends that end up together. Y/N learned early on that you can't be liked by everyone. But if there's one person who truly can't stand her - and the feeling is entirely mutual - it's Sim Jaeyun. He's the perfect student: kind, brilliant, effortlessly charming. Except when she's around. With Y/N, he turns sharp, competitive, and frustratingly calm. And she never misses a chance to show him just how insufferable she thinks he is. But when a series of coincidences forces them to spend more time together, everything starts to shift. Between sarcastic remarks, loaded silences, and wounded pride, what once felt like rivalry begins to turn into something far more complicated - and dangerously real. Because hate is a thin line. And sometimes, it only takes one step to cross it.

A WHY CHOOSE NOVEL ✄ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Can you break a few rules? Hunter Anderson, Garrett Reid, Blaise Dawson and Ashton Hernandez- they radiate power, enforce rules and look like damn greek gods while doing it. They basically run my school- quiet literally. I should keep my distance from them and follow the rules. I really should do as I'm told. I should be a good student, but I Violet Kaine am incapable of doing such. They are like different forbidden fruits in a tree and I fear I may be addicted to the idea of breaking just enough rules just to have them. ✄ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - BOOK 1 [ COMPLETED ] Word Count: 226K+ ✄ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Started: 10/27/2021 Completed: 08/11/2022Complete
