Before Shen and Izuku fifth birthday Shen ran away from home, she is Katsuki Bakugou childhood best friend before she left. Shen know that she couldn't stay with her family because it would put them at risk. She lived in the alleys and become friends with the league of villains, to hide her identity she would used her quirk. She had never used her quirk to full potential, but Know what she could do with it. The day on the ua exam she did a private talk with the principal about her going into school and of her conditions, but she had to past the interest examsm. Shen had broken the school record before the timer was half way done. The school have allowed her to stay in au, since she was living on the streets and didn't want to go back to see her family.
