Brian Harper has been caught in the middle of two crime bosses, he has chased down countless criminals, he had been in life-threatening situations countless times, but nothing has ever tested him quite like this. The struggle to get back to 100% after the explosion that nearly took his life is proving to be quite the uphill battle.
Who could have guessed that physical healing would be easier than the mental struggles that he has to undergo? Can Brian push away his pride and sometimes blinding ego? Can he let those who love him help with his recovery? Or will he end up pushing away the only people he has left?
Will Elise stand beside him? How can she when all he seems to want to do is argue? Can she handle the idea of him returning to the job that nearly ended his life?
But the biggest question, at least for Brian, is he worthy of Elise's love?
