𝐓𝐖/𝐂𝐖: 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝/𝐆𝐨𝐫𝐞

I do not own Tom Riddle as a character or any other concepts pulled from the Harry Potter franchise. I do however own the character Provence Flint :)

The Slytherin Rose by Papillon98
10 parts Complete
The perfect Slytherin was hard to find. Everyone had their own notions about what being a true Slytherin required. Some would suggest a pureblood with pride, whereas others would give it to the one whose future shone brighter than their peers. Gryffindors, notoriously ill-matched with most Slytherins, thought Slytherins were sorted based on their incapability to understand basic human emotions, or lacking the empathy to care. However, everyone agreed that if there ever was a Slytherin ideal, Rosaline Rosier would come closest to fullfilling it. Her ambition dripped from her every word, and her every deed. She was infamously hard to please and cared very little about her fellow students, often treating them with a coldness not even the Slytherins were familiar with. Rosaline aimed to please her mother with her intelligence, hoping her achievements would give pride to their tainted family name. She managed quite well, having proved her worth since the minute she entered Hogwarts, earning her house a legendary 100 points in her first week. However, a curse rests on the Rosier family. The story goes that whenever a Rosier is born, the Dark and the Light fight over the new member's allegiance. The battle of faiths, and its wins and losses, can be witnessed in the beauty of the Rosier eyes. Have the faiths already made up their minds about Rosaline, or does she still have a say in the matter? Can her mysterious grandmother keep her from the Dark? Whatever happens in the future, Rosaline, sharp and beautiful, will forever be: The Slytherin Rose. *Disclaimer* The rights to the Harry Potter series belong to J. K. Rowling.
