Forced from everything and everyone they knew and loved, Lex and her sister, Eliza, move with their abusive mother to New York City. Moving to NYC seems to be one of the biggest American dreams. But for the two girls, it seems to be more of a nightmare. The good thing is that they have each other.
Lex hopes that this move will help her to finally find happiness, which she hasn't had in a long time, and Eliza is longing to find adventure. Something different than boring schoolwork and the secret Kunoichi training they got from their father.
And what do you know? They find both.
Along with four mutant turtle brothers, a psychic redhead, a wild hockey player, their rat Sensei, and a few family secrets that were probably best kept undiscovered.
