When the once peaceful city of London is overtaken by the dangers of the Second World War, a naïve, young Rose must find ways to distract herself from the constant worries of her father's welfare in the war. Whether it was by strolling about in the woods laying at the back of the gardens in her home, or getting wrapped up in one of her never ending daydreams, she sought for an escape of it all.
Perhaps getting whisked into the magical world of Narnia might have been what she was desperately searching for, because during a fateful night, a long-forgotten prophecy catches her eye.
Thus, an unlikely friendship with the boy she always thought hated her flourishes, along with the weight of being a queen's lady-in-waiting. All while she searches for a distraction from the war raging back in England.
