THEY SAY INSECURITY IS AT THE HEART OF EVERY RIVALRY BUT THE RIVALRY ITSELF IS THE LIFE OF TRADE AND THE DEATH OF THE TRADER.

When Barbara first saw Jameel, her tongue fell into her stomach, she could feel every single appraised bump on her skin. She was completely mindblown, the gorgeous lustrous glossy hair and skin that looked like hardened clay from a distance, the obtuse angle jawline with a killer smile, Jameel was everything that she wasn't, beautiful.

As ugly as Barbara came with her repulsive acne ridden face, dry skin, masculine adjacent features and zero sense of class, she was a second constant reminder in Jameel's life of what she didn't have, intelligence.

Too bad first impressions can be a double sided mirror to our insecurities.

****
Barbara Chilon a seventeen year old girl killed two men protecting her home from invaders. Forcing herself, her brother and their single parenting mother to relocate to the city where she was enrolled in an all girls, rich kids club only school, through a scholarship program.

That was where she met Jameel Parkins, her family was among the one percent of the one percent in the entire city and she was queen, reigning supreme from the moment she stepped foot in that school.

Barbara became a subject that simply refused to bow to her and she went a bit too far trying to get her kicked out unfortunately for her she had no idea how low Barbara could go.

The ugly duckling ended up stripping her entire family's fortune and putting her in jail for a long time for something she knew nothing of but Jameel refused to take all that lying down.

Which leaves us to ponder who would win between the Sinister Barbara and the Pretty Jameel.
