but. there's a catch. although the connection will be made, you will only be able to see the symbol from your other half after you have done a task, wich will solidify the fact you are soulmates. it could be a simple thing such as washing the dishes when your seven to going to the Olympics in a sport when your 50. some don't bother with soulmates. most do.

Nishinoya Yuu has not found his soulmate, but after completing his task he received the symbol. He would love to meet his soulmate, even though after years of abuse he doesn't believe he can be loved, he wants to make someone else happy at least.

Kozume Kenma is in a similar position, in that he has he mark, but he doesn't care much for soulmates. He had watched his family be torn apart, and didn't see the point.
