To survive treasure hoarders' imprisonment is no easy task. Not when you lost your family and have been treated like a piece of trash for around 6 years. Even so, Charlotte never lost hope. Finally, an opportunity came and she used it to break free.
But the cost of freedom is far greater than she has imagined. It's only thanks to 11th Harbinger, who turned out to be her childhood friend, that she is safe and sound. Although, the shy and doubtful boy Ajax used to be was now replaced with a merciless weapon of war who seeks to fight everything that moves... What happened? Girl can only wonder...
To keep herself and his reputation safe, Charlotte is forced to join the Fatui, become a Harbinger herself and face even greater challenges.
After all, it's not easy to be a loyal Harbinger when you are a softie.
Not to mention - when you also start having feelings to your childhood friend.

Note that Genshin Impact original story is still ongoing, which means that the content in this fanfiction won't particulary make sense in future.
