The Bud and The Withered

In this dramatic love story, we meet young Lenora Campbell who has just turned 18. She looks very different from other girls in the early 1950s. With her doll aesthetics, and poetic eye, Lenora was often a loner compared to other girls her age. Her mother Tammy proclaims to send Lenora to live with her Aunt for a week to give the family a break. It is here where she meets a stranger with a few years on his sleeve. Back at home Lenora collides with her parents over the situation, forcing her to make a hard decision that would forever change everything. As Lenora and her new lover start a life together, their future is forever shadowed with judgment and other conflicts surrounding their age gap.
