Blood Queen

When a young girl hears a story about how the land she lived in was ruled just thirty years ago, she assumes it was just that, a story. But, as she gets older, her parents begin to move around more, saying it was too dangerous to stay in one place. People began commenting about how much she looked like the queen of old, the queen in the story she heard. Then, a reward of eight hundred gold for the heads of anyone who evens remotely resembles the old queen came along, and she has to move houses every couple of weeks.
