Summer has been on the run, ever since she practically destroyed Capitol City 5 months ago, and killed her opposite, Winter, 5 months ago, even though she doesn't even know she did anything. She was only trying to keep people safe.
But now she's back.
And so is Ethan.
Ethan introduces Summer to her previous kidnappers, The Rouens, and Summer will realise that there is far more to this story than she first thought. And on top of all that, she finds her new opposite, Ava, an orphan and a street thief, who isn't exactly thrilled to find out she has magic powers. But as rebellions and thugs start to take over the areas, the Rouens try to keep the peace.
All of the mysteries will unfold, as Summer and Ethan's world begins to crumble around them.

I stood with my back to her, shielding her, and my murderous eyes stared down at the poor excuse of a man, promising unimaginable pain if he dared to move or even flinch.
