What could possibly make Spot so shaken up he'll hand over Brooklyn? What could make Jack so shaken he'd give up Manhattan? Only one thing: Race and David have been taken. But where? How? Why? But why do they care so much about them? Well, first we need to go back to the beginning. We need to go on their journey with them. From their first meeting, to working side by side in the strike, to growing closer and falling in love, and all the things in between, dealing with the problems their kinds face in the unforgiving world. But the whole thing is bigger than all of them. This isn't a fight for just Newsies anymore--it's a fight for love, family, friends, rights for all, and the fight for the right to exist in a world like this and the right to tell those stories. Summer break had started about a week ago so Les, Sarah and I were at home most of the day instead of being at the school house. Sarah was making dinner while Les was in our room, probably playing and I was curled up in a chair reading Oliver Twist.Ma and Papa came home from work looking somber just as sarah was finishing dinner.We gathered around the table looking at Ma as she looked between all of us."We have some bad news" Not my characters, mostly not my plot.
