Being born into a world of violence is not an exaggeration. Astrid was literally born into the dark side of the world, her grandfathers close friends with the Mafia. She helps run his legal not so legal fighting ring for those said mafia.
She grew up around people twice her size who were filled with testosterone, it's where she felt safe but hunted at the same time. She's able to handle herself and she has earned many peoples respect for that; but what happens when her grandfather comes out of retirement and brings some of his old friends into the mix?
Especially his home town friend he grew up with, Mr. Valentio along with his son Alessandro. The new leader of the Italian Mafia. What will become of this strong head, overly forward girl? That lives on the outskirts of Detroit Michigan, just trying to get by day to day.
