Through the darkness of the conference room, it felt as if the world was crumbling on his shoulders. Every watching eye seemed to be on him, waiting for him to make the decision that would determine the fate of mankind. All memories of his loved ones and a time when life was once peaceful flooded his mind, and he began to lose grasp of the purpose of the destruction they were about to face.
