After two centuries magically encased in ice, demi-fae Indigo Lethos awakens to a world completely different from what she remembers. With the help of her half-brother, an exiled fae soldier and advisor to the human prince, Indigo is given a task: cross into the fae lands, and convince the fae queen to break the vengeful curse she placed on the royal family. The fae queen is intrigued by Indigo, who is known across both and the fae and human lands as the vessel of Asteria, goddess of the cosmos. If Indigo can complete the queen's trials, she will forgive humankind for their folly and remove the magical barrier between the two lands. In her quest to appease both sides, Indigo finds that more is at work than a feud between human and fae--and the truth may reshape the world as she knows it.
