In the magical planet of Adamite, the three most powerful kingdoms rule over the smaller clans of the land. There exists the Sapphire Kingdom of the Elves, The Kingdom of Ezamore of the Pyras, and The Kingdom of Lamia of vampires.

Historical warfare determined the reputation of Lamia as the Kingdom where selfish, animalistic vampires live. In the last years of the war, an alliance between Ezamore and Sapphire was founded that rests on the obligatory marriage of the Prince of Sapphire with the Princess of Ezamore.

Today, current Prince of Sapphire Artemis Lyra holds reign over the kingdom and is betrothed to the Princess of Ezamore. Artemis leads a life of routine and responsibility, and he must act the way his people expect him to. Composed, serene, and with an absolute duty to their traditions.

His life, however, takes a sudden twist when he becomes involved with the king of Lamia outside of diplomatic circumstances. Everything he thought he knew about vampires is changing, but he refuses to accept the changing of his heart.

Can he let go of his prejudice and give the arrogant vampire king a chance to prove vampires can change? Will he change the way elves think and live? Or will he succumb to his traditions and stretch the broken bonds another century?

[ magic, romance and madness. ] Everyone knew that a romance between a guardian and their protégé always ended in tragedy - yet they risked it. One day, I read that in real-life fairy tales, the princess sometimes needs to befriend the dragon and kill the prince, perhaps not to the most extreme extent, considering the prince's utility. (*Wink*). Twenty years had passed since the demise of the last living descendant bearing the bloodline of a potent family within the mystical realm. Individuals who possessed magic more formidable than anyone could have fathomed and that very magic could be pilfered if they were to meet an untimely end-a rumour ignited like wildfire. Word began to spread about the sole surviving member of the Lysion family, the last vestige of a lineage renowned for their blessings from the gods (or, as some argue, their curses), once no more than bedtime tales for children. Two decades earlier, a game of hide and seek unfolded that culminated in the death of the final Lysion at the hands of Oldo Blake, a formidable figure in the annals of history. Or so the story goes. An obscure girl. A concealed secret. A relentless pursuit. With a motley crew of bewildering Other Siders on her trail and an absolute dearth of knowledge on how to harness her precious magic, Rosélina Johnson's life transformed from that of an inconspicuous university student to that of a fugitive in the mystic realm, utterly unprepared for what lay ahead.

Lynx comes from a planet where females are honorable and could never refuse the word of the Goddess. But she would rather do anything else than find out who her soul is tied to and leave the one she has already fallen for, Seren. They both plan to run away until her mother forces her to meet with the Goddess of Beginnings and find her mate. She finds out she is tied to a male named Scorpius on the planet Ocura, which is said to be one of the most dangerous planets to inhabit. Will Lynx be able to fight the word of the Goddess and be with her true love? Will the magic that ties them be too strong and change her feelings completely? Or will fate take over and give her the life she fears most of all, a life wed and mated to Scorpius? *Book One*
