"If I'm not happy, why should they be happy." He thought out loud, staring at the happy couple we were currently spying on.

"Even if you were happy, they wouldn't care." I chuckled dryly, my chest slowly tightening at the sound of the couple's laughter.

"Let's make them care then."

She was in love with someone who didn't love her. He was in love with someone who didn't love him. They were obsessive, so they acted on that.
