"Mom, its fine... Your heaven is here," Lucy whispered again. Her mom smiled a little, "Yes, my heaven is always here." When Lucy's mom fell asleep, Lucy breathed a sigh of relief and stared at the letter on the table; she picked it up and read through its contents. Every day the hospital would send her a letter about her mom's illness: trauma, which resulted in giving her short-term memory. Every once in a while her mom would have snippets of her memory back, making her scream; Lucy always wondered what happened to her, she was too young to witness it. Now, with Parents Evening coming up, she feared was terrified for the day in which she had to keep up with more bullying. She glanced at the calendar to check the day. Oh God, she breathed, it's today.
