That starts to change when he meets his presumed-dead cousin... And she's not what she seems.
As the past catches up to him and his life starts to unravel, Soel must decide whether to save his family, or save the city. It's not that hard of a decision... Is it?
It was one thing for Zia's own past to be unknown to her. It was another thing to be hunted down by the very people who turned her into a monster. All she wanted was a normal life, instead of always hiding, running through the cracks of the underworld of the city.
But when she finds out that she's not the only one forced into this hell, hiding is no longer an option. If she wants to save herself and her friends, a line must be drawn.
Even if it's drawn with blood.

Sanctuary. That was what the quarantine dome was supposed to be, a place of refuge from the N-Gel and the deadly Neoplague they unleashed on the world. But we aren't safe here. Senna is uprooted from her rural life in the outer dome when her mother agrees to marry the President of Sanctuary. It was supposed to be a Cinderella story, but Senna can't stand the health and status obsessed city. Her only escape comes from repairing an antique piece of wireless tech, an endeavor that is seemingly hopeless due to the interference that reduced such tech useless after the invasion. Senna believes that if she can get the device to work, she can use it to contact the life she left behind. However, it isn't her old life she reaches when she gets the device to power on. Instead she catches the SOS of a little girl who claims to be held captive in the toxic world outside of the dome. The girl offers a reward for her rescue-the cure for the plague that forced humanity into quarantine and took Senna's father from her. Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Complete

Zach and his new friends are running for their lives. Barely escaping the evil Vampire Lord. They freed the twins from their tormentors and met up with a strange uncle of theirs. They have been chased and nearly killed so many times he lost count. When she wasn't trying to kill him, Zach can't seem to stop thinking about the beautiful and exotic Katrina. There was just something about her he couldn't put a finger on. But he knows less than nothing about girls so what's the point, right? These strange numbers he sees floating in the air are the key to controlling his new-found time control powers. He just has no idea how to use it and he's terrified he might accidentally hurt someone or worse. He has a sinking feeling it could be much, much worse than that. He also has a hunch that it's not just controlling time that he can do. Zach is getting the idea that his strange new abilities might not have a limit. That by altering the ghostly numbers he can literally change reality. Now if they can just survive long enough to figure out a way to get home. Now, life is simple. Stay inside the walls, and you'll stay alive. It's not relatively easy anymore, though. With no one for company but each other, danger lurking only a few yards away from their homes, and half of their loved ones swept away in a mysterious event known only as 'The Vanishing', the morale of the populous is at an all time low. It's only getting worse for some, as their cities that are supposed to be providing for them are failing to do so. Survivors Wesly and Valentine aren't content with this, however, especially since Val's mother desperately needs life-saving medicine that the city just won't send. With no other options, the two journey outside the wall to study the monsters beyond, selling the information they find to the city in exchange for their support. While dangerous, they manage the task fine until one journey out they stumble across a disturbing, gruesome revelation that reveals not only more about the city, but the end of the world as a whole. As the duo begin to pull on the thread and tangle themselves slowly into its snare, they begin to realize there's a lot more to this apocalypse than they ever could have imagined, and that the horrific beasts they've been studying might be the least of their concerns...Complete

Emmi is not and cannot be vaccinated against the disease, so the only way to protect her and give her some kind of life is to reunite her with her estranged mother in a quarantine zone on the other side of the country. Charlotte wants nothing to do with Nate or the girl who looks like her dead sister. She does not want to go through the grief of losing people again if something bad was to happen. And something bad does happen when Emmi is kidnapped, and it is no one's fault but Charlotte's. Through this obligation alone, Charlotte feels like it is her responsibility to get Emmi back, to right her wrong. In helping Nate pursue his kidnapped daughter, Charlotte inadvertently allows herself to feel again, to care for those other than herself. But with the clock ticking, Charlotte's new found family may just end up like her own, dead and destroyed, if Emmi is exposed to the disease that her father tried so hard to protect her from.Complete

Once upon a time, there was a young boy who experienced constant pain. The only person who truly stayed by his side was Kallie, his sister. She was his everything. His life, his family, his best friend...his world. Then humanity had to take her away and wreck his perfect, peaceful life. As if it was not enough humans were the source of all his pain and suffering he experienced throughout his life, and the reason for all his scars and symbols, they took away the only person he cared about. Well, enough was enough. He tried leaving humanity alone. He tried living a peaceful life away from all the fighting. It was all he wanted; to live a peaceful life with his sister, but humanity would not allow him that. So, if battling was the only thing humans throughout history understood, then he would bring them a war. So now, he has a new goal. Peace treaties are made between humans but they never last. War, however, forces the loser to obey no matter what for however long the winner decides. If humanity-the entire world-only submitted to the strongest then he would dominate them all. Only he would be the strongest, allowing no other person to even come close to his power. He would burn the world down to its very foundation, eradicating everyone who stands in his way, and rebuild it anew. The new world would be transformed into what he could never have. A fair and just world, devoid of all sins, where everyone can live a peaceful life without the constant worry of what could hurt them next. New laws will be placed while the old ones are removed. All evil will be purged from the world. Any who stand in his way will be turned to ash to help build his world. If the world wanted him to be evil so badly...then he would be a malicious tyrant that rules not with an iron fist, but a diamond one. Of course, there will be many who will fight back. However, there is only one person who even has a chance at winning...and she only cares about her little sunshine.Complete

But she's not the only one, there are nine others supposed to be besides her; two of which never made it past their mother's womb and one who's incompatible. What makes them special, is also what makes them dangerous. Ripped from their normal, day-to-day,school life, family and friends with no warning, they find out who they are. And why they're alive. But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden.
