Because of this, Dumbledore takes an interest in her and decides to leave her with the knowledge of Horcruxes but also forbidding her to speak on them until the timing was just right.

So when Dumbledore produces a boy that was thought to be long dead she wasn't surprised. She, along with Harry are tasked with hiding his identity so that he can be used as an informant for the order.
