A young man discovers the skull of a large Paleosaurus inside the Mako Island Volcano on a full moon night, and accidentally falls into the pool of water while still holding the skull, and with the full moons power. Something goes horribly wrong. He becomes the creature, the beast, The Monster Of Mako Island.

He stays in hiding in dolphin city for five whole months after learning that he only transforms when angered, but is soon discovered by the mad scientist Dr. Theodore Erswick (emphasis on the Mad part) who makes it his goal to hunt him down and make more monsters as a weapon of war.

Will Prof. Alexandre Permian be able to escape this psychopaths grasp with the help of the Mako Mermaids and all his friends? Or will Dr. Theodore Erswick succeed, and create something that will only result in.... an abomination?

I immediately saw a huge shark. I screamed. I surfaced and looked around at the girls. "Guys there's a shark!!" I cried. "I knew it!!" Eliza said. "Look there it is!!" Alex cried. I turned around to see the shark's fin. It turned and swam towards us. We all let out a blood curdling scream.

She introduces herself to the girl, Cleo Satori. One of her close acquaintances, Rikki Chadwick, manages to come in and save the day while also relieving some of Madeleine's pain. They pick up Emma Gilbert before deciding to take an amazing boat ride. However they run out of fuel and get stranded on Mako Island, none of them realize that after that day their lives would be forever changed.

Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to!
