She is a trained assassin like Natasha and just got put on the Avengers. The new Avengers, which consists of Tony and Steve as leaders, Natasha, Clint, Bruce, Wanda, Peter Parker, Sam Wilson, Thor, Loki and Bucky Barnes. 
She is now only joining them as part of the Avengers and she is excited but when both her and Steve catch each other's attention they realise maybe love is at play.
