Emily Jones is a forensic analyst with a history coming out of Gotham City. She is rather intellectually bright and does great with hand-to-hand combat. Let's just say that she also developed a distaste for vigilantes. To get away from all of that, she decided to go to school in Coast City. That is where she developed some interesting friendships. After spending 10 years in Coast City, Emily decided it was time to return to Gotham. When she gets there, she is met with her past similar to how a bus hits a person. Well, Dick Grayson makes her feel that way sometimes. No one knows why Emily is back but the only person who needs to know is her. Will she let the truth come out? Or will come out on its own?

Look, this not going to be great. Just being honest. This might just appear to be word vomit. But that is fine by me. I am having fun with it. Also, this might have a weird timeline, so just a heads up. 'Kay byyyyye

"Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. And he didn't want to back down from the fight. <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Summary: Hazel has always tried to do the right thing and be the best person she can be, but that can get confusing when you end up being hunted by someone you don't even know. Or she thought she didn't. Her life has few shadows and a lot of light. Jason Todd has a past that he can't seem to recover from, while Hazel has a past that seems perfect. What happens when both of these are proved wrong? His life has a lot of shadows and few light. And what if the person who helps Hazel ends up being the person who is the most opposite from her? <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Rankings: Jason Todd #4 Batfamily #1 Red hood #1 Nightwing #1 Robin #1 Red Robin #2 bruce wayne #1 batman #1 wally west #1 dick grayson #1 tim drake #3 original character #4

"That name's familiar, right, Mr. Wayne?" Gotham City's vigilantes find a mysterious young woman in building rubble, unharmed but shaken. No reason for being there, no origin, record or trust, even in the Batfamily. Then she drops a bombshell; she knows who Batman is and she's determined to face him. After outracing death, unprocessed demons of the past and present have caught up. Her refusal to trust anyone brings tension to the Batfamily and envelops the Justice League, exposing her connection to a man whose very moniker makes them wonder if she's trustworthy. Why pursue them, or what chased her to? Walls must crumble on each side to help who she was before emerge--from memories even she's reluctant to acknowledge. She may also just be a kindred spirit; damaged. Dark connections are never evident, and unimaginable worlds exist outside your comfortable cities or worst nightmares... but love, family and loss is universal. Mourning alone, far from home, is where no one deserves to be. *Recommended ages 15+. Based in the 'Wayne Family Adventures' universe (not including chapter 7, that's a joke, non-canon chapter), featuring plots, characters and timeline factors from other DC movies, universes and comics, but some original concepts for certain, small DC characters. (I own nothing, it's fanfic. Cover photo is the Webtoon art with a stock image. All belong to their respective creators/companies.) Strong language, violence and implied sexual or intense situations. Brace yourself; that's the trigger warning. The protagonist is an OG character.
