All my life I have lived quiet about the horror in the castle. The late queens' games and torture, but she died only to be replaced by a snake in human skin. I got burned, hard, and now I'm tired. The shadows became my friends. My only salvation, but all that changes when a maid is assigned to me. She shows me the world outside of the castle. Outside of this prison. That is until my life takes a right turn for the worse. The King of Zephyr announces that the Kings from Boreas and Tapati and their courts should arrive to make peace. Suddenly I'm drawn into a fight against powers I didn't know existed. Betrayal after betrayal I must decide which side I'm on.
