This is my first story so I apologize in advance if you dislike it. Any hints or tips are greatly appreciated. :)
Our story begins in the small village of Erendale.
Arlana Tarmikos had never been happy with her lot in life. Trapped in her small farming village she had always yearned for a life of adventure far away from her home town and when she meets a young man named Ársalon she is swept up along for the adventure of a lifetime.

Awakening of the Blood
Life started simple for Tarina and her young friend Willem, as these stories often go. As these stories also often go, however, they do not remain that way. When an army invades their home and enslaves of kills the population entirely the pair is thrust into a violent world they had never wanted to be part of. They fight to free themselves and what is left of their friends and ferry them to safety. They make it to the next town after a harrowing journey, only to find themselves in another mess. It takes a fight, some very good acting and a lot of luck to get out of it, but they meet their first friend they'd made since they started. Einark, a gruff dwarven smith with a hammer big enough to intimidate a giant helps Tarina escape, adding to the already mounting bounty on her head. The three of them part from their remaining friends and neighbors, trying to draw the attention of the Crown away from them. Their travels bring them across the kingdom, meeting more friends along the way...and the woman that would steal Tarina's heart. She lets the group find peace for a time before they have to flee again. Now, with their group being followed by the High Lord's men, their only destination left will bring them away from everything they ever knew...if they can make it before they are captured.Complete
The Winged
Surviving can be difficult when you're only a few inches tall. Fanged beasts see you as their prey, every creature is bigger than you, and the world seems to work against small things. Not to mention the struggles of getting from place to place... but the worst of it all? Humans. Once a year, every year, summer sweeps over the forest. The sun warms the leaves and the damp melts away until the world of the Winged flourishes. Those warm months are when survival becomes the hardest. Drawn by the beauty of the forest, humans of all kind invade the already dangerous home of the small Winged people. Fear of these monsters is shared throughout the tribes. One sacred piece of advice is known: avoid humans at all costs. They know only how to destroy and hurt. ___ Despite the protests of her close friend, Azure accepts a mission that takes her from the safety of her tribe. **Fun fact about this story.... It's the first one I ever wrote... Back in 2008!!! The year my own children were born.... Another fun fact.... I'm old. 😂** Arriana isn't a typical teenager. She's captain of her swim team, has a crush on her best guy friend, and develops magical powers on her sixteenth birthday. Oh, and there are assassin's trying to kill her. Much to get horror it's revealed that she's not only magical but not from this world. She is the queen of Coresova, a faraway kingdom ravaged by a tyrant who killed her real parents. Her own uncle. Now Arriana has to give up her life that she wanted so badly to save a world she doesn't remember.Complete

The Ranger And The Prince.
Sapphire is an orphan elleth whom was brought up by dwarves in the Mines of Moria. Now she wanders the wilderness of Middle-Earth as one of the most skilled rangers ever known. With her skill with both bow and blade as well as the axe and daggers, she is sought out by Lord Elrond to attend a meeting of all the great races in Rivendell. There she meets Aragon, an old friend or hers who is a fellow ranger and she also makes the acquaintance of a dwarf, an elven prince, four hobbits, a wizard and two men. Along with her trusty wolf companion, Nasha, and her horse, StarLight, Sapphire is swept up in a quest to save Middle-Earth. She forges long lasting friendships with those around her and finds herself getting close to the elven prince even though they start as rivals. This is a Legolas love story but if any of you have read my other fan fictions then you know I love character development and so this is likely to take a long time to get started. Also, I know there are like a billion fan fictions with the same plot, that being a female elf who is part of the fellowship and ends up falling in love with Legolas. I know every fan fic is basically that plot repeated over and over again but I just said, 'what the hell, if you can't beat them, join them' so I made this.Complete
