Those words repeated themselves in Treecko's head.

"Rayquaza's dead."

Just after the meteorite almost hit Earth, Treecko and his partner Pikachu went to awaken Rayquaza to tell it about the meteor.

After a small battle Rayquaza finally pulled itself together and hyper beamed the meteorite. 

It was gone, but took Rayquaza down with it. Now Earth has no protector of the ozone.

Or maybe... Rayquaza's death was a misunderstanding...

However, there are dark secrets to unravel, Flare has to keep his past as a human a secret, and on top of that, someone or someone's are looking for him. All Flare wants to do is get back home, but he might make some friends and save the world along the way. (This story contains elements from every Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game and is my first attempt at writing, so don't expect flawless work) I do not own Pokémon Characters are made using Gacha Life 2 because I suck at drawing I also PURPOSELY made some parts in the story cringey because in the actual Pmd games, the characters act childish at times (I just wanted to make that clear)

The story is set two years after our protagonists ran away from the crumbling building. Borderline depressed, empty, and disconnected, Valen ceased all forms of battling due to a newfound fear for violence and took up a corporate job. Unfortunately, that was not all she stood to lose as a mysterious power affected the Pokemon Centres and Pokeballs to enforce permadeaths. It is as it was foretold: the curtains will not close until a hero is no more. A bit of a warning, it's meant to be this edgy absurd story but some may also find it sort of depressing. I've been told that I describe my thoughts in an uncomfortably visceral way which I never realise. So, if you feel sick, please stop reading right away Disclaimer: I do not own any of the Pokemon appearing in the story nor the items (Pokeball, Potions, gym badges, etc.) or moveset and some location (Sunnyshore City) as they belong to Gamefreak and Nintendo.
