  • Who Was Her?

Dahlia, who was mistakenly arrested, somehow found herself in the same prison cell with the most dangerous prisoner in the empire. Killian, who was the strongest knight of the fallen enemy kingdom, was kept as a prisoner after his homeland's defeat in the war. He was known as the crazy madman who ruthlessly slaughtered hundreds of men in the battlefield. He was all the things one would be terrified of when heard. The story used to scare children to sleep. A killer A lunatic A madman who laughed while slaughtering his enemies A man who only lusted for blood. Those were the names attached to him. Valuing her dear life, Dahlia decided to earn his interest by pretending to like him. After all, he was known to spare interesting things, especially women, according to the rumors she heard, that is. However, her act of pretending to like him was no use at all. The more she fawned over him, the more he threatened her. Eventually, the time came when she was finally free to go but couldn't bid him a proper farewell. And years later... "Why did you suddenly disappear that day?" Never did she expect she would encounter him again. "Do you know that I've almost gone mad searching for you?" He said with his deep calloused voice. And though her body was frozen in his arms, she gulped as he leaned into her ears. "You told me before that you'd marry me once we got out of that prison." A breath hitched in her throat. "Aren't you going to keep your words, my beloved?" He said. It seemed like he had no intention of letting her go.
