He was the boy everyone noticed. She was the girl that followed in the shadows. He was the person everybody was friends with. She was the girl who would rather spend her time with her books and do homework over anything else.
Carter Russo was your typical jock at Lake View High. Being the captain of the football team, comes with it's perks. He sleeps with girls just like he changes clothes, always having a new one warm his bed every day. He was loved by everyone, his popularity only bursting his ego more than it needs to be. He doesn't like to be talked to for too long, or stared at to quick. He wants what he wants, and he also get's what he wants. His father is the boss of the Italian Mafia, having him being the next to lead. Carter doesn't like to be disrespected, or you will sure pay the price.
Iris Peterson was just a girl. She never not over-thinked. Always worrying and putting other things before herself. She was noticed by many, but yet nobody approached the girl. She was as fragile as a flower, always having to be re-assured. She was the girl that noticed everything about everyone, reading them like a book at first glance. She would rather spend her time reading or studying for the exam than be out doing what normal teenagers were doing. She was alright with the fact of being alone, but would she like it to stay like that forever?
What happens when Carter lays his eyes on Iris and tries to figure her out. Will popular and loner be a good mix in the end, or will it blow up in their faces, regretting ever thinking about the 'what if'.
