After finding out she was adopted as a newborn, Dakota decides to move in with her best friend Molly. Claiming she wanted to be closer to work and school, she really just wanted time to think. To make things worse, the nightmares that have haunted her for the past 7 years are happening more frequently. She never would have thought that a night at a bar, for her 21st birthday, would start to make her darkest dreams a reality.


Prologue


        The table in front of her was covered in textbooks and papers. Her coffee had gone cold hours ago, he was sure of that. He watched as she ran her fingers through her hair. I should buy her another coffee, maybe she would like that. He shook his head. No he couldn’t do that. It was better if he left her alone.
	
        She shifted her papers around, and looked solemnly at her cup. The way she bit her lip made him nervous. He needed to leave, this was ridiculous. He didn’t even know her. He wasn’t even sure why she caught his attention. He chuckled, that was a lie. He scent was what stopped him. It made him feel like he was drowning. He had thought about introducing himself all afternoon.
	
        His phone vibrated. Not taking his eyes of the girl he answered sharply.
	   
        “Yes?” He let out a low growl “I’ll be there in 20.” Glancing at his watch he ended the call. 3:17. He would have to hurry, the city traffic would be starting soon. With one last look at the girl he left. He really hoped he would see her again, her scent was intoxicating.
